Fantastic run, but inquiring minds want to know how it was all done!!
What's he got in it, a jet engine?

Re: Brother's cobra made it to the 9's
Ya it's a stroked 4.6 with twins, 6 speed and IRS. This run was with 18's on the front with 17's on the back with Hoosier DR. This run was with no 2 step and riding the clutch to keep the boost up. Car weighs 3750 lbs.

Lewisville outside of the Dallas metro area
And not to dog anyone on here (or their family), but many on the mach forum do not recommend HPP for any work. They've got a bad rep over there. I am indifferent. never been there nor had any experience with them

Re: Brother's cobra made it to the 9's
Ive also heard good and bad with HPP, but I guess thats how things go in the performance industry.
Clint seems to have that cobra dialed in....jerry might have a conversation with him and bounce some ideas around.

i will be getting the brace for sure. half shafts are a long ways out on the wish list, mainly because of the price.

Re: Brother's cobra made it to the 9's
Every performance shop has their "don't go there customers". And I'm not saying they are the best to go to. But, only one other place comes to mind when your talking BIG power for mod motors and that would be MMR. And I have heard good and bad things about them too.
HPP has a proven track record of making BIG power. Manny's personal mustang puts out 1500 HP and is fully streetable. Last year he ran a street car shootout. 30 mile cruze (20MPG) and ripped off three 7.8X passes. I could name alot more including my brother's. but, I'm not really trying to say...take your mustang there. If you are wanting to make alot of power and build it so it won't break everytime you go to the track. They can help.

I can tell Jerry where he parks it during the day. Jerry just needs move Clint's and place his in the same spot. By the time Clint figures out its a different Cobra. Jerry would be back in Tulsa.
