Real Go Karts....

Mark is looking into these for an outing....
These are real go-Karts.... They get up to 55MPH $30 for 20mins or so (Based on a 35 to 40 lap race)

Thoughts?

Fun as all get out, you can get him lower on that price. I think we usually pay 20-25 for 20 minutes. The course has two parts, a shorter version which is pretty action pack and a longer part they can open up with many tight turns. I am pretty sure they don't go 55mph, but it sure does feel like it when your that low to ground. They are plenty fast and will scare the living crap out of you for the first ten laps getting use to going into corners full throttle. Be prepared to be very sore also, your shoulders will be burning from all the turning.

As for racers per lap, they let us race 12 at a time one time, it was pure craziness. Bumping, spinning out, blocking, total fun if you ask me. They also have a huge parking lot so you could get a group car picture or something like that. This will be a blast if we could get more than 12 to come, they also have a time system to tell you who is the fastest.

No walls but you can put him in a tire pit.

I have done these as well. They are fast and fun. He has two courses set up, one oval and one road course, I did the road course, very fun.

Why the *BEEP* Haven't I heard of these? Jarrod? Am I going to have to get a new secretary? :)

I have drove by the track many many times when I worked for TPS. One of our elementary schools is out that way but I have never been in the gates. I did not know they had go carts out there.
