Re: ENGINE
Thats a good price. Its amazing that system cost like probably 300 bucks for fox bodies, that same system for s197's would be like 500 bucks or more. Crazy, just like the slp's costing 300 for some bended pipe with chrome tips, but they sound good at least. :)

Re: ENGINE
Alright, since I was needing to pick up a few things for myself, I went ahead and bought the BBK CAI. Hopefully, it will be here next week, I will know more monday. David, I will be in Ft. Riley KS next Friday - Sun, but we can get together that following weekend.... when I get dyno tuned!?!
It looked like a pretty nice CAI, hopefully it will work well!

Thats Awesome Dein! That will look great. Everyone start doing some brainstorming. This will now be the thing that the rest of the details in the engine compartment get built around for looks.
Thanks again Dein!

Re: ENGINE
I was thinking about the engine compartment last night. I really like the powdercoat idea..... Also to tie in the chrome CAI..what about a chrome strut tower brace? Might look good... I think they are a $100 though

Re: ENGINE
That would look good. Will just have to see what money is available for the engine compartment. There is still plenty of time to get there.

Re: ENGINE
When you guys think about it can you post up a few ideas ( pictures ) of some engine bays. Need to get some ideas. I'm thinking of shooting an email to " the king of bling " for some input.

Re: ENGINE
What do you think about having the intake powdercoated in black and the valve covers in chrome to match the CAI? Then adding various chrome accents to the motor. I can also have the intake plaque done in chrome to accent?

Re: ENGINE
So do you guys think that the valve covers should match the intake? Or should we go with two finishes?
