didnt feel any kind of pain or anything, should i go to the hospital

was holding a glass drink in my mouth while trying to open a door an hold food at the same time an bam the glass shattered where my mouth was holding it.

yeh it wasnt really smart

my mouth was bleeding an than it stopped a minute later.

i didnt feel anything really but could i feel even the smallest spec of glass? and could something that small hurt me?

after it broke i immediately put my head down so nothing could go down my throat.

I broke my beer bottle one time, trying to pop the top on a table.... I drank my broke ass beer bottled beer and I was fine! My butt did hurt a few days later... strange huh?

I saw a show where a cat swallowed a needle and they had to operate because they were afraid it would poke a hole in its stomache or intestines and cause it to get really sick and die. I would think the same might apply.. If it was big enough to maybe cut anything you it might not be good.. i would at least call an on call doctor and ask..

Thinking if it was not a big enough piece when it went down (if any did) that you did not feel then you will be ok. But if you have any pain in the next couple of days I would get in.
