Whats so funny about the bolt on category? Forging your motor is just one big bolt on. I dont see any nitrous or supercharger on your car :) Now if you had a stroker kit I would listen but looks like your right along with the rest of us. hehe

I was but the pistons come too far out of the bore and ovalize the cylinder causing the motors to only last about 30k miles before they start falling apart. Hey I did raise the compression, put on heads, and cams. Not bad for someone in college. One day I might spray it though, or run really low boost.
Maybe Ill join you all with a brew tonight in Stillwater!

Re: CEAT Week Car Show- Stillwater, OK 8am to 2pm
well i am not a board member, so i am not privileged to get invites to closed events .
i was at lowes the other night and just bought a 3 inch cutting tool for the air compressor. i need to cut the old jack attachment and have you weld the new one on.
i also figured out my nitrous problem, the nitrous solenoid is not working. the fuel solenoid is working fine as is the purge. so i need to call kurtis and see if he can check if i can send it in under warranty or just rebuild it.

Good to hear you chased down the gremlin of the N2O. What type of solenoid do you have? I bet you can rebuild.
