Shelby Meet Friday at TRP

I have reserved Tulsa Raceway Park again this year on Friday June 15 from 10 til 2. Same format as last year, single lane passes. We will video as much as possible and will be available to help anyone who needs it. Tulsa changed the pricing a bit, it will be 165 to run as much as you want. Spectators are free. I will cater in lunch it we can get 15 cars. I make nothing off of this, this is what TRP charges me. We had a blast last year and we hope you will come join us this year. i think me and Jerry went last year. not sure who else. I remember the pizza and drinks.

I went last year as a spectator. I might run this year. Great fun and certainly the way to go.

PS: Jake still couldn't get a better time than my stock run! THTHTHTHTHT!!!!

would be fun as long as number of cars were limited. otherwise that seems quite pricey for 4 hours of track time. doesn't really matter though for me ;)

We limit to 20 max. That way there is always something going on, but few enough cars for everybody to get plenty of runs.

I was there last year. It seems to work well.

I wish it was last years price, but with the change in ownership this is where we are at. But we did have a great time. I'm trying to get some of my Cobra Jet buddies to show up. They where at Milan last year.

I hear some guy from Pryor owns 2 Cobra Jets, old and new. Not sure if he got another also. He owns some chicken place out there. I think i was the same guy who almost lost it on the track a few years back. and saved his ride from hitting the wall.

I may run. It would be nice to run the car a few times on a properly prepped track and not have to worry about the damn cone.

Mike, I know I told you I would run for this, but I still haven't decided on my wheel tire combo and I don't thinking running on my street radials would serve any point except to test the IRS bushing kit and to to waste some gas....

plus I'm still mid brake setup swap at the moment... waiting on parts...
