Compressed air machines Empty Compressed air machines

Post by blkpwr on 4/9/2012, 11:29 pm

Not sure if this is in right forum. It's technical but not mustang.

I am changing my plugs and need a blower for a bunch of dirst that fell in my plug well.

I went to autozone and the one they sell did not unscrew from the can, nor did the ball church unscre so I couldn't put a gun on it. Please advise. Walmart has some elecctric compressed air generators but I don't know if they t
Can adapt for a. Blow gun or not.

I know I can probably cut off the end of the use t the ball check then crimp on a gun somehow, I am just wanting an air compressor that either comes with a gun ayyachment or is made to take an adapter.

Thanks for any ideas

That one will not work. Read the specs. It's nothing more than a upgraded tire inflater. Rule of thumb... If you can't run pneumatic tools off of its not an air compressor in common terms.

I've seen little ones 2 gallons for around $100 or so. But you get what you pay for. OR, if you have a shop vac... most can reverse and make great blowers for what you're trying to do.

I just use a shop vac to remove debris from around the plugs when doing work. They sell small diameter attachments that can reach into those hard to get to areas. I bought some at lowes.

I just read this thanks for the explanation. I wound up borrowing an air tank from a friend for the job. Interesting about the shop vac. is there usually a button or do I have to reengineer the insides to get it to blow
