I like the guy and think him getting a GT500 is pretty tight. Yeah bring on the republican bullshit. I don't read this forum much so I doubt I respond, but it is funny watching the replies. You can send me personal messages about politics too and I will respond.

Do you like him because of his political accomplishments or just on a more personal level? I'm curious. If it's his accomplishments please enlighten me.

Just because a person doesn't like socialism and has a grasp on economics it doesn't make him a republican.

I personally consider myself a conservative rather than a republican.

I consider myself a capitalist. Numer 1 enemy of Captalism = Socialism. Quote from Sir Winston Churchill:
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."

I couldn't have said it any better myself.

But you have more than me??!?!? I know you worked hard for it, but I want some of what you got and I dont want to have to work for it!! Mr President, do your best to make those hard working rich people give me some of their hard earned money so I can have some of the good life! Oh yea!!

Obama in a GT500 Obama-socialist-poster

I am neither a Republican or Democrat. I refrained from judgment on Obama for a long time waiting to see how this would all turn out. BUT Im sorry, any sane person can see that we are on our way to a socialistic way of government. Take the money from the Rich without regard to capitalism and Liberty and give it to those that "need it". So who needs it? How does one decide?

This is AMERICA, land of the free! Every man has the right to work hard and set themselves up for success. The majority of those "Rich" people employ americans and I say GOOD FOR THEM for making something of themselves. Thats the AMERICAN DREAM....the AMERICAN WAY.

Its now turned into....well sir you make "this much" so we are going to take 3/4 of what you make and give it to those less fortunate. Why not find out WHY those people are less fortunate...its like any business....you assess why some are underperforming and try and coach them to success. I am sorry to say that you will find that most of those people are lazy people that have their hand out...they claim to be helpless, but have never tried to better themselves. Yeah, lets give them a better life for NOTHING. They give NOTHING back, yet expect something in return.

With this thought process, why should anyone strive to achieve wealth and success? Why should I work my ass off, just to give it away to some person that has never known hard work?

I am not saying Obama is a horrible president, I am saying hes trying to change society without regard to the consequences. If we go down this path, forget advancement in technology, forget striving for medical breakthroughs, forget hard work. What would be the point?? If those people have to just give all of their hard earned money away in Taxes, whats the point in going to school for 8 years to become a brain surgeon? Id rather be the nurse and take money from the surgeon.....

This is an extreme example, but I think the video speaks for itself. I am all for helping those that ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT help themselves, but there are always those that know how to "work the system" and are simply and plainly MORONS.

Jarrod, your assessment is completely valid except one part. Obama IS a horrible "president". i use the word lightly because he has made a mockery of the office and our constitution. he has skewed every liberty in his direction without regard for our principles.
