Pretty cool video someone put together for a tribute to the Shelby GT500. Thought I would share. We have some bad ass rides is all I can say!

Killer vid. I thought the background music was appropriate, The Unforgiven. Because if you you don't respect her that's exactly what she is.

Very true Mike, that rear end likes to go where she wants to and aim the car towards ditches real quick if youre not careful

I'm sure most of you have a story but I had my Shelby for a couple months and I was screwing around. Turned off the TCS and made a right turn and let her rip. I fishtailed for what seemed like forever and thought I was going to loose it. I lifted and got her back under control but I was so scared I was laughing. It was definitely an adrenal rush. I had only heard stories of other people and seen a few vids but that day I found out if your not careful she WILL bite back.

Glad you saved it! These cars can come around on you real quick. Lifting the throttle was a smart move.

Re: Shelby GT500 Video Compilation
The best thing my wife ever got me was (figuratively) the Richard Petty Driving Experience. I picked the pace car drivers brain, talked to other staff drivers and picked up a few extra tricks. I learned how to choose entry and exit points, when to lift, brake and throttle out of turns. It was by far the most fun thing I have ever done. I have practiced rev matching; toe to heel stuff to the point my brake covers on my last car and now my Shelby have torn off. I am waiting for Shelby to come out with a more durable replacement. I experiment with different shifting techniques. I am by no means the best driver out there and I still make mistakes. If I had to judge myself I would say I am in the "I know enough to be dangerous" category. There are still things I know the Shelby will do and I have seen others do them and I am always ready to listen and learn.

Re: Shelby GT500 Video Compilation
To cheat our Shelby GT500's is the power only one has achieved, but if we work together...I know we can discover the secret. BTW I am a Star Wars nut.
