MustangFest?
Anyone ever done this? Was talking to a guy over on SMR about it, and he acted like it was a really big deal down in Texas.
2-Day cruise from Mustang, OK, to Mustang, TX. Then a huge car show and stuff. Lasts all weekend.

Maybe next year?

Yep, I've seen this before. Sounds like a pretty neat event.

Re: MustangFest?
Pricey? Hmmmm?
We went last year. It was pricey for us because we ended up with a kid outta the deal lol
Its a blast man. We r signed up for this year (we did before we knew she was preggo) but arnt going to make it. Tom has rolled our enrollment to next year. Its a great time and I highly suggest it. If yall are interested in making this a club deal for next year let me know and ill see if I can get tom to hook us up with a club rate.
Anyway last year we left mustang with 8 cars. We picked up more on the drive. Stopped in west texas for a small show and free burgers/hotdogs. Stayed the night in san antonio. Had a show and free dinner there that night also. The main club that is involed with his is outta san antonio. We left there with something like 120 cars for the drive to champion ford then into mustang island. Its a great area good people. We didn't know anyone but met a lot of people. Condo we stayed in was decent priced for how nice it was. Its definitely going to be a yearly event for us and I can recommend it to everyone.
I will say your car needs to be ready for some HARD driving. I don't think I've ever driven my car as hard and for as long as I did from SA to Corpus

Re: MustangFest?
I was looking at the pictures. $100 per car isn't TOO bad for a weekend deal, when you factor in food and entertainment. Too bad it doesn't come with a gas voucher.
This would be fun, by next year I'll be boosted and able to keep up with some hard driving...

Re: MustangFest?
$100 a car? Wow not sure when it got upped. We pre registered for 35 bucks. Last year its was like 60 maybe. Ill have to look into that
You do get free lunch the 1st day dinner that night and a t shirt and registration to the car show?
And its not so much the acceleration as it is the breaking. Car 1 taps the brakes. When it filters thru 100 cars you are standing on it. But its a blast

Re: MustangFest?
Yea website shows 99 a car. Still could be fun. police escorts must have gone up in price. One reason we prolly didnt have one at mid-america.
