whiney 500
well i have mentioned my gear whine before. it started as a light whine on accel around 45-55mph not to bad. now they are screaming at 45-75. i wonder if the tip to the tack on slicks squeezed the crush collar up a little and got things out of wack? ugghhhhh i wont even drive the car the way it is rght now im sure anyone driving beside me can hear the awfullness. so im thinking i will take it to someone for a setup and wondering if i should go ahead and get bearing set, gear set or just take it in for a checking? was thinking about trying benji or greg. called a shop in bville and he was like duhhh sure didnt sound promising over the phone

I usually just call up to BHF and ask for him. Find out his schedule and he will take care of you after hours

Re: whiney 500
I would do the bearing, your already got it and have noise with your current setup. Piece of mind if you ask me.

Re: whiney 500
well had benji and his partner steven dothe gear swap yesterday eve. took less than 2hrs and it is perfect! they sound like the factory setup. the set i put in was running a touch deep. anyone thinking about doing this get the frpp gears and have those guys do it. they were very reasonable on price and pretty versitile on there availability.
