Pulley preference? Empty Pulley preference?

Post by BASixxer 5/30/2011, 2:19 am

Found out by hapenstance that my car will be paid of in 3 weeks, not 5 months (thought I had signed a 36 month note, but talking to the wife yesterday I pulled paperwork and found it was actually a 31 month note), so I am going to start on the m112 project again. Been going through some algorithms and have found the 2.93 to be the best pulley for me to start with considering my current set-up, and I have begun to look at pulley brands before making my decision.

What have you found to be the best brand to use? Been looking at Steeda, Reichard (Billetflow), and a few others. Pricing can be drastically different, so just getting opinions.

Right now I am thinking about going with the Steeda, but had to contact them to see if I can buy the 2.93 pulley with the interchangeable hub. According to their site, I have to get the 3.10 pulley with the hub, and then buy the 2.93 as an addition...

Opinions?

Metco? They have interchangeable pulleys. FYI, just throwing a brand I have seen others use. I am in no way an expert or have any dealings with them...

I'd say as long as it's a reputable brand it should be fine. Steeda makes very good quality products.

Looking like Billetflow may be the best price wise... Steeda looks more OEM, but don't want to buy two pulleys...
