There is a BMMC member that is a tech at ford who has access to the equipment. I will let him know you also have the ability to scan it. Thanks for the offer.

I was wondering who you were referring to when you spoke about your mods. Good to know and glad there is someone local that does good work.

Good to go now. It was a bad coil, which we knew, just didn't know which one. Leonard hooked me up and got me going.

Nothing yet. I'm really leaning towards the boost bypass not closing all the way and leaving me short on boost. I'm only seeing 10lbs. I have no idea how you can check it.

Re: David's GT500 Troubleshooting Thread
You sure the belt isn't slipping? Are you running the same size belt as other guys with the same pulley and idlers? It's a quick fix, and then we can quickly eliminate that issue.
- Also, may have missed it.. How old are your plugs? You can throw a new set in. Easy, cheap fix.
- What does your spark look like? Could be pulling timing up top. 91 octane sucks ass and need to consider that when setting max timing. A lot of people will put too much in 91. I know you said you have a great tuner, but he could have thought you were on 93?
- How much vacuum are you pulling in at idle?

Re: David's GT500 Troubleshooting Thread
Same size belt with same size idlers. I have considered changing it just to eliminate it as a possible source and likely will.
Plugs have less than 500 miles on them. NGK TR6 gap 35 thousandths
I have heard no detonation ever. Same tuner as Jarrod who runs 120mph with nearly identical mods.
Not sure about vacuum at idle?

Re: David's GT500 Troubleshooting Thread
Had Kurtis look at my data log files. It appears as though my tune is to blame. The bypass checked out ok. All vacuum lines ok. The car goes on the dyno Wednesday to look at the numbers and get tuned. Hopefully that will put this to bed.
