Re: New Mods Update #2
Great job on the install, and the Shelby sounds great, Jarrod!
We all need to get together and get some nice hi-res photos with this weather warming up.

Chris I am definitely game.....saw you leaving the ford dealership after getting new shoes a couple weekends ago. I saw you turn and see me! Car looks awesome by the way. I Was going to David L. for an oil change that day....and not in a Gay way.
Once the weather cooperates give me a holla

Of course. I'm trying now to decide between two different radiator covers from Bangastang....one's all carbon fiber and the other is fiberglass painted to match your cars color scheme.

Not sure I've seen that one...prob. have and just don't know it. Sure it's pretty similar to the one from CPC.

Yeah. Looks really similar. The brackets are a silver color though on mine.

I've been thinking about the carbon fiber ones for mine. I think they will look the best with my color combo once I change my stripes.

Yeup Shelby was selling a Carbon fiber stripe kit for the '07-'09 GT500. Is this what you're talking about getting? If not what color are you changing stripes too?

Re: New Mods Update #2
Since I switched my wheels to the '10 model vert wheels I am changing from the blue to a argent/graphite color. Basically dark grey with a touch of metal flake.

All I remember is how much hard time I got when I didn't have hood struts now I can count 3-4 that don't have them on theirs! I think I have same hood strut kit as Josh, works good.

Re: New Mods Update #2
It will look similar to what this guy did, except he powdercoated his stock wheels. In order to get the metal flake look you must be having them painted on right? Do they even make a vinyl gloss with that metal flake look?

Let me rephrase. I'm not farming the work out to a shop because Paul and I are masters of the vinyl and since we have done stripes on a kajillion cars it will be a snap.
