Id prolly actually just end up getting some $$$ for some mods. I doubt she'd want to spend more money than I save her with small scholarships. :) But still in the end faster is faster.

Yea, dont know how much you owe on the 05 but imo i would mod this one than spend an extra 10-15k for an extra 100 ponies...

Just depends though, lets see they start at like 33k right? So how much do you think a used one would be this time next year? Isn't there a like some average percent of value a car loses in the first year?

You can get an lx for 28k...373 gears and a 5.0, but otherwise a base model... deep discounts are usually Only if there are significant changes. the 5.0 is the big thing. Doubt you will see a huge drop until the design change for 2014... unless you are willing to sacrifice mileage...

I wouldnt ever run more than 10psi. I'd probably get a centerfugal too so I wouldn't burn through tires as fast, those 4.10s are tough enough to handle already.

Just do some research before you go centrifugal. A lot of the kits require you to delete the a/c system

I do not know of any centrifugal kits for the S197 that require you to delete the A/C system.

Procharger makes a great kit Barrett if your wanting to go that route

Dont rule the others out...do some research on your own and find the one that fits your needs. For me the Procharger would by my choice.

Huh? Never heard or saw this at all. Maybe in a Civic... but not a Stang. They are made to bolt right in (kit). Not a fan of them, but they do not require you to get rid of the AC.

ARMORINE wrote:centris are good for road racing they dont heat soak much. i like them.

Road racers use both twin screw and Centri..... Twin Screws are making their way on the track due to the exiting torque at low RPMs. Heat soak is becoming a thing of the past with the new liquid cooled technology, more efficient intercoolers and the Dual fan dual core heat exchangers. Centris make good power but still have "LAG" and need a larger coarse with long straights, whereas a twin screw does not...its instant. Twin screw has the most useable powerband, most consistent and predictable power delivery, all while being very efficient.

All superchargers are going to generate heat....the best option for road racing is NO SUPERCHARGER in my opinion cheers

But the key words in your statement is that "you like them", which is all that matters. Its always going to be your car and any decision you make should be one that you actually want to go with, not because someone told you to.

What the hell are those? Those fart can terds with the giant wings and the primer gray body kits because they spent so much on painting their a/c vents and interior door handle bezels that they can't afford to paint the used and cracked bumpers they got off craigslist for $50 off some other idiots 92 Honda Civic.

Wow, that was a good rant, i think im ready for bed now. Oh and minus 10 points for referencing a time when you thought imports were cool.

And you get wiser with age? Your 24. And to finish NO, there aren't any acceptable imports out there. Well I had a SAAB that I liked once but it wasn't an import, it was Scandinavian, and born from jet engineers.

I will have to side with Lee here an say that I would just about kill for an R34. And I would totally drive a MK4 supra. But I would have to agree with that the hondas and stuff aren't worth driving.
