arm/head rest covers??
a kid on a local forum had some shelby parts for sale. i think he was needing money because after a few weeks with no one hittin he started dropping his price. i ended up picking up a set of headrest covers with the snake and shelby on them and an arm rest cover new in the packaging for 50 bucks. anyhow its black leather with white stitching. anyone know if i can get this stitching died red to match the car with out it rubbing off to the leather?
also if anyone has them. on the arm rest did you pull off your stock leather or just wrap it over it? i might just end up taking it to an upholstry shop. the head rests just velcro over the stockers, (not real sure i like the fit yet).
thanks

Re: arm/head rest covers??
I think you are safe to dye the stiching. Most automotive leathers have a clearcoat protectant on them and that is what makes them easy to clean up. I would think you would be able to dye the stitching without damaging the leather. However, I am not 100% sure. I would take it to an upholstry shop and see what they might charge to re stitch it, then last resort, try and dye them.

Not sure. I'm with Jerry I'd just take it to someone who could be trusted to get an honest answer from.

It just looks a lil funky. Not bad but just not right with the white stitching.

Re: arm/head rest covers??
I'm sure they would look fine in my car. I'll be happy to take em off your hands for maybe $5.00 and a half eaten box of frosted flakes?
