Re: FITTI88
hey Paul,
baby on board! lol, The Fitti is more of a hot rod now with all the mods we have had done to it, plus it needs a lil love for the interior. i have had it in my garage for almost 10 years now and i only take it out when i need a stress reliever. i like street racing and with that car im good at it.... but if i were to keep it, i think bout 3500 bucks would get all the lil shit that needs repair. like the plastic clips for the visor, the plastic housing for the seatbelts, new carpet. you guys know what im talkn bout lil cosmetic stuff that i need to do. I have had my time and fun with it, now my time and fun are goin to someone else. im very excited to be a dad, but at the same time i hate seeing that sweet car just sit there. i have to do something with it. my friend Kara who is president of the ECMC in Florida had a good idea. instead of selling it to some person, who i dont know. try to sell it to a mustang lover, someone who will not wrap it around a tree or dog it out.....My dad and i are the 2nd owners, the 1st owner was a driver for Fitti racing team who had a tragic accident. he made us promise to take care of his baby. i think we have held up our part of the deal, so far. i just think its time for me to move on and want someone to have it that will take care of it and love it like we do. its a car show winner or was in the late 80s and early 90s. this has been a hard decision for me and i have wrestled with it for a few years now. im a big guy, and that fox was made for smaller framed people. i think its just time for me to move on and maybe look at that 2011 stang...wink
