DBLDARE wrote:Dave were you able to get the champoin plugs locally or did you order? Also what was the price. I want to do this soon as well.
I ordered them from Summit, David - http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=CPN%2D7989&N=700+115&autoview=sku
They're $12.95 each there, but upwards of $15.00/ea. most everyplace else. Thanks to Ford's %$&#-up, Champion will make some serious bucks for a long time off these plugs that probably costs them 80 cents or so each to make. Be sure and check the gap before you install them - mine came gapped anywhere from .025 to about .070. (I gapped them at about .044.) And seriously, if you guys want to borrow my nickel anti-seize that's fine with me - I bought a huge container of it off Amazon.com. (I was hungry at the time; kept associating it with a tub of peanut butter...)

**UPDATE**
Found a rebate offer of $2.00 per plug through 5/31/08, bringing the Summit price to $10.95/plug:
