The BMMC Travel Challenge - Suggestion for Earning Challenge Points

Similar to how Motor Trend publishes pictures of their readers with a Motor Trend magazine in unique places, how about if we start awarding Challenge points to BMMC members who post a picture of themselves wearing some club swag in far away places? Points awarded can of course be changed by the Board; but as a suggestion:

Picture in any state adjoining Oklahoma - 5 points
Picture in any of the other 48 contiguous states - 10 points
Picture in Canada or Mexico - 15 points
Picture in Alaska or Hawaii - 20 points.
Picture on any other continent - 25 points
Picture in any current or former Communist country - 30 points

And, like a photo scavenger hunt, bonus points can be awarded for special effort; e.g., picture taken underwater while wearing the swag; picture taken with celebrities in the automotive field (Carroll Shelby; Chip Foose; et al) and even more points if you get them to wear the swag!; picture of you and your Mustang on a different continent; etc., etc.

All BMMC-organized cruises; events; trips; etc. would not qualify for the travel challenge points (you earn points just by attending those, anyway). There should be a limit on the number of travel points one can earn each year, too.

I am thinking this should be pictures of the car not the person wearing club swag.. If the car is in one of these places.

Brent...That would mean alaska is out, hawaii's out, separate continent is out. I think he means club swag brent.

Brent - if you drive your car to either Alaska or Hawaii and post a picture of it while there I'll personally guarantee 45 Challenge points for you.

I know.. I can read dammit.. lol.. But you should get more points for taking the car to some other states or countries..

Jerry, On the thread with the points list we need to have a list of what gets points, how many points and so on cause I couldnt tell you how we got to the point totals we have now.. lol.. If its already posted somewhere, call me names and then tell me where it is.. lol.. I not so smurt ya know.

BMMC Special Event TDB Misc large event. Point value will be determined and announced prior to event.
Buy Points $1 = one point 100% of all monies collected go directly to the club account to fund the club.

Man, you start this right after I swear off of globe trotting! Sooner or later I promise I will figure a way to get more than my current 0 points....

Its ok. there is lots of time left and lots of points to earn.

Well, I have taken off for the Shelby meet so I'll get a point or two there. I'd hate to get skunked!
